This website is operated by Care Consort Limited (company number 13943143, registered in England and Wales), trading as Horizons Short Breaks. The information on it is provided in good faith for general information about our service. Please contact us before relying on any specific detail (session times, venues, eligibility) as these can change.

Acceptable use

You may browse, download, and print pages for personal, non- commercial use. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, abuse our forms, or use the site in a way that could damage or disable it.

Intellectual property

All content (logos, copy, photographs, illustrations, code) is owned by Care Consort Limited or licensed to us, unless stated otherwise.

Complaints procedure

We aim to do this work well, but if something goes wrong we want to know. Please tell us as soon as you can.

  1. Stage 1 — informal. Speak to a member of our team in person or by phone. Most concerns can be resolved straight away.
  2. Stage 2 — formal. Email info@horizonshortbreaks.org with the subject line “Complaint”. We will acknowledge within two working days and respond within ten working days.
  3. Stage 3 — escalation. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant commissioning local authority, or to the Local Government & Social Care Ombudsman.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under English law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).

Governing law

These terms are governed by English law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
